Chief of Delegation of EU in the Republic of Serbia, His Excellency Ambassador Michael Davenport, within the programme `Debate on matters important for the process of EU integration and relation of Serbia and EU` met the presidents of Nis city municipalities, representatives of the authorities of the City of Nis and Head of Nisava Administration District. On this occasion, Boban Dzunic, president of Palilula Municipality, introduced Devenport with the project activities of this Municipality that stands on this point as one of the leading in the region and with the problems that influence the realization of even more better results.

RECREATIONAL FISHERS "EKO FISING "CELEBRATED THEIR SAINTS DAY

Association of recreational fishermen "EKo FISING" Niš celebrated their patron - Saint summer St. Nikola. The celebration was was attended by many members of the Association, guests from Vojvodina, for the first time and president of Palilula Municipality Boban Džunić. According to Jovan Djordjevic, president of the Association "Eko fising", the organization of recreational fishermen of Nis has been active for two years. Together with Saint Day traditional Cake, candle, but also with the kettle full of fish soup, our Saitns Day will be marked as it deserves Djordjevic points out.

within the project "SCTM Network for Roma issues," announces a competition for
Coordinator for Roma issues who will be engaged for a period of six months (period: June 2015 - December 2015) in the following Municipalities and city Municipalities:
1. Lajkovac 2. Paracin, 3. Kostolac, 4 Palilula (Nis), 5 Svilajnac, 6 Sabac, 7. Pozega, 8 Subotica, 9 Bor
The project is dedicated to the establishment of mechanisms for communication and information exchange of SCTM with its members on the issues of the Network of Roma Inclusion, which is related to providing support to municipalities and City municipalities in improving the situation of Roma (preventing all forms of discrimination, employment, education, health, social care and housing), as well as the needs of employees in local governments dealing with these issues to exchange knowledge and practices.

KARAOKE PARTY IN PALILULA MUNICIPALITY

Palilula-Nis encourages the development of cultural and artistic creativity and provides support to talented pupils in primary and secondary schools. KARAOKE party is one manifestation that every year gathers hundreds of performers of popular music. The best participants, with the qualifying competition, which since May 14, has been realized in seven primary schools in the Palilula Municipality of Nis will perform this year, on June 3 at the ceremony "PALILULA NIGHT 2015" which is organized within the framework of celebrating the City of Nis "Saint Emperor Constantine and Empress Helena " Day.

President of Palilula Municipality, Boban Dzunic, made a reception for successful sportsmen Branislav Milenkovic, best power-lifter in the Balkans and Marko Djordjevic kick boxer and judge in this sport and gave them the Appreciation notes to these two sportsmen for the results and contributions in improvement of sports and healthy lifestyles. Sport and development of physical culture has a right place in strategic activities of Palilula Municipality. Management of this Municipality, according to Dzunic words, listens and hears about the needs of their citizens and realizes successful cooperation with many organizations, educational institutions, associations and clubs.

FOR PUPILS - ACTING, DANCING
AND PUBLIC PERFORMANCES

Sponsored by Palilula Municipality, fee of charge `Summer school of acting and theater movement` for elementary schools pupils will be organized.
The school will be couched by Ana Arandjelovic, graduated ballet dancer and graduated actress, the author and TV host of TV Belle Amie in Nis. Our aim is to help talented pupils, so this activity will help to develop the creativity, coordination, good breathing dynamics, right body position, diction and freed stage performance, says Boban Dzunic, president of Palilula Municipality.

NATIONAL LIBRARY DAY
IN NIS CELEBRATED

The oldest institution of culture in Nis, National library `Stevan Sremac` celebrated its 136 birthday in the presence of public persons, who were all librarians that day. Among the guests - new librarians was also Boban Dzunic, president of Palilula Municipality. Beside his many obligations president Dzunic says that he has enough time for books.National library `Stevan Sremac` in Nis, according to the words of director Sonja Sukovic, expects this day with more than 200,000 members-readers, and library is visited daily between 500 and 1000 people.

LANDSLIDES REPAIRING SOON BEGINS

Problem that the people living in Krusce, Gabrovac and Partizanski Kuriri street have (all located in Palilula), are having with their landslides will be solved, it was announced at the City council session. About 20 million of dinars are allocated to the repairing of landslides in rural and urban areas.For the problems of the people whose houses were taken away by landslides, solutions exist. Money for that purpose is allocated - 8 million for landslides in rural and 12 million for landslides in the rural parts.

The programme of this manifestation comprised of further activities: Festival of civil society, Quiz of knowledge on EU for Nis primary school children, rock concert, Stand up show on the theme of myths and prejudices on EU.

PALILULA MUNICIPAL COUNCIL CONSIDERED THE GENERAL REGULATION PLAN OF PALILULA TERITORY

Palilula Municipal Council in its 37th session, which was held on May 6 at the premises of the Municipality, after the adoption of the Minutes from the previous session, has made a decision on the Adoption of Reports on budget execution of Palilula Municipality for the period 01.01.2015 - 31.03.2015. During this session it was also adopted a Conclusion on giving a positive opinion on the amendments to the General Regulation Plan for the area of Palilula - the first phase. About this conclusion, in the words of Boban Džunić, the president, will be speaking the councilors at the next session of the Municipality of Palilula.

MEMORIAL PARK "BUBANJ" AFTER

This year, once again, after the 1st of May holiday, there are ruined picnic places, piles of garbage, plastic bottles, bags, cans, food scraps. Usual sad picture which speaks of our consciousness, ecological culture and our responsibility. Memorial park "Bubanj", a favorite resort of people from Nis, located in Palilula, after the holiday celebrations is buried with garbage, memorial place is all over written by graffiti, benches in the amphitheater are again damagedf, many improvised fire places and burnt trees left. President of Palilula Municipality, Boban Džunić, with municipal inspectors are at the very spot.
